Purpose
- When back ordered stock is received, automatically:
- Allocate to open work orders.
- Notify the work order customer by text message of stock availability.

I. How it works
- On your work order:
- 1. Add back ordered item ids to open work orders as normal.
- Indicating to automatically allocate stock when it is available.
- 2. Receive back ordered items from your supply vendor or customer returns.
- J-Stock automation:
- 1. System monitors open orders to automatically allocate stock to back ordered item.
- Open work orders - based on priority level set.
- 2. System will optionally send email(s).
- a). To your sales manager to id that:
- Back orders have been filled for item id for specific open orders.
- b). To open order's assigned customer,
notifying them that back ordered items have been received
and
to contact you to coordinate.

II. Example Usage
- They can set a priority level for the item to be filled.
- The options are:
- L - Low priority. When stock is available, fill this order first.
- H - High priority. When stock is available, fill this order last.
- D - Disable. Don't use J-Stock for this order.
- An audit trail is viewable in a bckord.### file.

Item JOITEM123 has 0 qty available.
- A salesperson tries to add 4 of their item to a work order.
- They have to backorder as the item is not in stock.
- The priority is configured and later stock the item JOITEM123 gets 4 in stock.
- The automated backorder feature will find the order with available stock and fill it.
- The order now shows this as the quantity is 20 and the backorder amount is 0.
- Emails are now sent off to the store and any customers to notify them orders have been filled.
